USA Basketball Announces 2024 Men’s National Team for Paris Olympics

USA Basketball has unveiled the roster for the 2024 USA Basketball Men’s National Team, which will compete at the Olympic Games in Paris from July 26 to August 11, 2024. The team, selected by USA Basketball Men’s National Team managing director Grant Hill and approved by the USA Basketball Board of Directors, features 12 athletes with significant USA Basketball experience.

Highlighted Players:

  • Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns): Three-time Olympic champion and the USA’s all-time Olympic statistical leader in total points, scoring average, field goals, 3-point field goals, and free throws.
  • LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers): NBA’s all-time scoring leader, two-time Olympic gold medalist, and competing in his fourth Olympics.

The team boasts 11 combined Olympic appearances, 10 Olympic gold medals, and three FIBA World Cup titles, bringing together 12 NBA All-Stars, four NBA MVPs, and six NBA champions.

Embiid and Leonard will debut for the national team during the USA Basketball Showcase on July 10 in Las Vegas.

The team aims to continue the USA’s successful Olympic basketball legacy, maintaining a dominant record since James’ debut in 2004.
